That's my bike in the photo. I've no experience with the double row LED lights.
I will say I'm really happy with the 6" light bar shown. Very bright white light.
Highly recommend and fits the Tenere like it was made for it.

Why is the Dempster better than the Dalton ?

I have a back seat driver that watches Ice Road Truckers (!) hence the romance of the Dalton and Prudhoe.

You've got a place on the north side of DC if you want. Budget enough "down" days to enjoy the trip. Crossing our Great Plains is an excuse to get an Iron Butt plate and you may consider flying the Mrs ahead to meet you in Denver.

June "should" be fine, but be ready for anything. Denali is seldom seen, due to clouds and weather. This June, we found Glacier National Park's "Road to the Sun" still closed for snow removal, road through it in Yellowstone, and had this near Mt. Rainier in Washington State:

I showed it to SWMBO and she just said "wow, that's impressive". She is a skier so deep snow does not phase her. Shame she no longer says that about me.

Shame I wont get down there till mid summer. I like riding in snow.

If my plan works I will have done about 15k miles by the time we get to Salt Lake. I feel a couple of Airhawks and Gerbings clawing at my credit card.

Dempster is my preference. Feels more remote, the route is totally unpaved with far less traffic I like the scenery better, there are two free ferries and the road ends in a town instead of an oil camp. River and air trips are available to remote villages. June 21 is National Aboriginal day a festival with native dancing food and exhibits. Two years ago it was sunny and 28C on June 21.

I've done them both. If you can't do both either one is still a great experience. Does the Mrs also watch Ice Pilots NWT
