They actually arent that bad. Mine lasted over a year. But you have to sharpen it yourself, because they come with an edge that couldnt cut a microwaved peep in half.

Handle is plastic and it does need an edge.
Good for brush clearing and zombie skulls

It has the serrated edge also! This way I figure I can cut off the arms and jaw and make them pets... um...Now that I typed that out, it sounds weird.

I am going to get the cheap one, sharpen it up and make a wooden handle for it. Sounds like a cheap, easy project. PLUS I will be ready for the ZA. a win win!

i picked up a $20 "fasthawk" the other day at walmart. it's in my topcase, but comes with a belt loop sheath thingy. not a bad tool for this - i'd rather spend the extra $15 and have something more.... punchy

20 at walmart and 50 online? gotta go to walmart. Glad I did not buy one of the axes I see at the hardware store every time I go upstate! This one is way nicer.

just looked it up. I need it for fire wood, it is only 2 3/4" blade. not going to work.
