Never been on day three of the GS trophy challenge...but there seems to be plenty of alternate routes around the nasty parts. ATV's have widened a bunch of the trails so even a gs will fit!!

Too early for me I don't have 'lectrics on the 530 so I'd like it to warm up some....

Mike,
How much fun will that ride be on a gs?
Pretty much like Eddy stated....sandy with some tricky single tracks if you explore...some hilly stuff...been a while for
me but I'm bringing the smaller bike...

There was a Henrico Co Cop sitting there when I exited the trail behind Martins. He took a good look at me but didn't do anything...
Sorry I missed you Chuck...I was dragged around to shopping hell today and just got back

Martins

Jimmy .... Sorry about missing you today. I had the time I just wasn't sure if you were going to be there. Next time I will stop and ask for you.

Mike ... I may have an extra battery cable to hook up your electrics.

These dirt bikes with lights (530 EXC) don't take kindly to additional power drains....I got a whopping 30Watts of DC power used to charge the puny battery....now if I wanted to throw money at the problem I could run heated grips

The XR has a bit better @ ~180 watts and folks have run a vest with a GPS or other accessory without issue...

So, waiting for it to warm up sounds like the plan for me.

I might get back over there either Friday or Saturday morning. Friday looks nicer/warmer (40-63F) vs Sat (28-49F). Even Sat will still be ok, it's just the 20 mins getting there that's chilly. Riding the trails will warm us right up.

Told my brother and now he wants to see the place too. I'll try to steer him towards Sat morning "Breakfast with Jimmy".

In jealous...I want to go...to many people at the house for me to sneak out, but Friday RTE might work. So has anyone thrown any ideas out or is gonna be to busy?

Eddy- hit me up on the large pants. I have XL Gerbing and they are to large for me(I'm a 34 waist). I would trade for the larges that chuck has if you get them.

Anyone want ot do RTE around the ride in the woods? Great texas BBQ place in front of martins, Mexico, and italian place there too.

That way toddzacker has a good excuse to sneak out and spend at least a moment in the woods...

Ugh this thread is making me want a dual sport more than ever. I can't believe someone picked up the DRZ I was going to buy an hour before me. And for $1500 is was a steal.

Kinda funny........

We're all gonna gorge ourselves tomorrow, and we're getting ready for another feast on Friday.

Probably just outta have a pot-luck get-together where everyone just brings tomorrow's leftovers.

DO NOT burn your house down if you're going to deep fry your bird! ...

On another note: 2013 Black Creek member card came in the mail yesterday. We're good for another year. ...
