GPScity Black Friday is on!

Pretty decent deals I guess.

They have a Montana 650 bundle that looked good until I noticed it came with CNNA 2012.

They do have CNNA 2013 DVD for $69 tho.

...

If you bought CNNA 2012, you'd still end up with 2013 because when you buy, you get one free map update and you would get the current version, 2013.30, when you downloaded the update.

Thanks,

I saw the $399 price for the 600 last week and got GPSCity to match it. Bought a couple of maps too (might should have waited until Black Fri/Cyber Mon though). Not complaining though.

DeLorme inReach $5

Yes -- That is Five Dollars for an Android compatible inReach

My local REI had them on clearance for $99.86. DeLorme has a $75 mail-in rebate for the holidays. REI is currently giving out a $20 gift card with a $100 purchase. Adding a 95-cent kid's Clif bar (which is quite edible) put me over $100 giving me a total of $95 back on my purchase.

The Hingham, MA REI is now all sold out, but you might check at your local store.

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up the last one at the Boulder REI (the one in the display case).

Reading MA REI wanted the full $250. I called the Framingham store, they explained there are two models, an Android-only model on clearance, and the new model that also works with iOS at full price. They said they have "plenty" of the clearance model. I picked one up today. Initial impressions are good, except for the size. It is about as wide as a SPOT, a little taller, and a bit more than twice as thick. Not going to be carrying this one in a jacket pocket on the bike, that's for sure!

If anyone's looking for a Montana 600, they're $399 Canadian at GPSCentral.ca until December 12.

The 78S is $299, also on sale.

$449 for the 650 at gpscentral.ca, ten bucks cheaper than the 600.

Garmin 78, $199 @ West Marine

Now that the supply of 60Cx drying up, and with them the West Marine specials, this looks to be a good or even better deal!

Garmin Map 78 with free shipping for $199 from West Marine.

This is the updated replacement for the 76 and shares the same upgrades as the 62 has over the tried and true 60Cx but with one big differance;
The 62 lost the HD power plug (USB only) while the 78 has retained it.
If you don't want a touch screen unit this is it.

I don't know anything about this USA Topo 100K mapset, since I'm in Canada, but how bad can it be for $69?

The Tempe, for instance, is $44 at your source, and $30 at GPSCity

The Friction Mount Kit is $69, vs $55 at GPSCity.

I wouldn't buy from the "Factory Outlet Store".
