I came down Pauly Creek on my 950 Adventure and had to go up Butcher Ranch... Not fun... but I'll never forget it. When I got up to the "ravine" on Butcher Ranch, there were two guys from Santa Cruz bikes doing trail maintenance. They remarked that my 950 was the biggest thing they have ever seen on the trail...

I could not imagine going up Pauly Creek on the 950/990.

I googled around - is this the Pauley Creek Trail you and PinkPillion are talking about?






Squaw Ridge is also a fun Sierras ride. Although, it was closed this last summer.
Probably closed for the winter, now.
I hope it reopens next year.
