GI. Its borderline overgassed (but never had any failures yet), I might put on a heavier buffer to be on the safe side.

No, this is one of my own creations. I got the lower from noveske and built the rifle around that.

Thanks for the reply. I was considering on the Noveske 10.5 piston with the stwich block, but I would save about a grand if I go with GI.

Hawk has the Windham varmit exterminator model . He loves it so far. I have a Anderson manufacturing Am-15M416 with the "RF-85 treatment" All I can say is with app 900-1000 rounds thru both they have held up great. We were hitting golf balls at a measured 150 yds off a table with out a rest.

I have one. No problems or concerns so far. Build quality is excellent insofar as I understand these things. It has never jammed or failed to fire. Seems accurate enough. To keep it legal I had to buy the California model with the bullet button and magazine capacity is limited to 10 rounds. It just barely has enough rail to mount an EoTech holographic dot sight and magpul "iron" sights. Their web site is: http://www.windhamweaponry.com.
