eYou can beat me senseless with a "canadian club" it is still shit, especially when you add 7 UP. Real whiskey is made in Scotland, Ireland and Kentucky (sorry Tennesee after many years of being a devoted fan you do not make the top 3). Strangely believe it there is some very good single malt being produced in very small batches in Virginia. I am looking forward to Presidente and flan.

You guys are heathens. Everyone knows that when you ride in Mexico tequila and Indio are the ways to go.

Whiskey
Yes Bob, but maybe not snobbery so much as I find Canadian whiskey too sweet and then people mix it with high fructose corn syrup sweetened soda and it becomes a sure fire formula for feeling.... well... like shit. For me there is nothing like a good sipping whiskey shared over several hours with good companions and good stories.
Yes P.J. but only if I don't have to go anywhere but a beach chair the next day. I love the taste of a finely made tequila, especially with fresh citrus juices but oh boy the hangover. One tequila, two tequila, three tequila... floor. |

Beverage snobbery.
Bob I went to the link and it scored a direct hit on my wine snobbery. The guy's first mistake was to go to Sterling at all. He got it right at Grgich but Mike Grgich stands on his own as one of the finer winemakers in the Napa Valley and has for more than thirty years. Sterling = Puch Grgich=Vincent Black Lightning

Canadian Club is like mother's milk, you enjoy while you are young.
Bob and I drink Crown Royal, rocks, or neat. Sometimes with fresh moose milk but Bob's moose milking abilities are not what they once were. If you say anything bad about Crown Royal you too will have a purple bag. LOL! |
