![]() It would be great also to know if I can test start the bike with any 12V batt (anybody knows this?) or I will have to wait to find another 99x owner to use his battery. There's no Yuasa battery sellers in Patagonia so I can't buy one to change it an see what happens. And during week end, I can't reach any battery shop in order to test the battery itself. .

...and next time, start a separate thread. You'll get better responses that way.

(in my 640Adv, the stock Yuasa batt lasted 5 years but before it died, it noticed me with some lazy starts... less electronics make different results I think) Quote:
I will be contacting a Yuasa seller in Buenos Aires tomorrow (hope they have this model in stock). Cheers guys, thanks for your help and my apologies for being such a 990's noobie!! .

Try a Honda dealer. Common battery on big Hondas and genuine Yuasa :)

My 950 (carbed) is still using a battery that would NEVER start a 990 (EFI). (one more reason why I like carbs over EFI) ![]() Once its replaced it'll start right up Im sure. Happy trails, ride safe.

![]() So... no running engine, no way... I will have to give a shot to the decals I have received this week from CrispyDesigns... ![]() When I was offered a 2007 model, I knew it was the 1st 990 EFI year. I had never owned anything but carbed bikes before... like almost everything, all have advantages and disadvantages as well. Cheers! .

Some shots from a couple recent rides South West of Denver.
