I am actually a week in to my trip and this the first opportunity that I have had to upload some pictures. Currently I am in Tequila Jalisco. Or after last night, I should say - tequila is in me!
It takes a long time to upload pictures here. Right now I need to go taste some more tequila. I have some great stories and pics to post from Copper Canyon and of course Tequila!

Ed, if you're not already doing so, redo your images and convert them to 72dpi before uploading. Lo res means really fast uploads and 72dpi works just fine on internet pics. Good luck on your travel, looking forward to reading about your adventures. Your pal Larry

Here are some of my quick thoughts about Copper Canyon
Definitely NOT over-rated
It was everything I thought it would be and more
I traveled over the Thanksgiving weekend and I didn't see one other adventure rider doing the trip. Unlike Alaska, I saw motorcycles travelers everywhere. In fact, I am almost to Guatemala now and I have only seen 3 other guys over the past 2500 miles
I crossed the border at Piedra Agua and headed south. I was impressed at the quality of the pavement the whole way.....especially thru CopperCanyon. Sometimes the routes are tough to follow but using my GPS (which is not really accuate down here and doesn't have all the roads and towns loaded on it), my AAA road map and just instinct, I haven't been all that lost for too long so far.
I was very excited to get to Creel. I heard people talk about it and thought it would be this cool little town on the edge of the canyon......I was wrong! It was kind of a dump like most of the other towns that I went thry and it was no where near the canyon. To see the canyon, I had to ride another 25+ miles to Divisadero. And then you get a great view of the canyon. Here are some of those pictures
