I feel this is one of the best kept secrets. It is near Brushy Mountain State Prison (now closed). This is where James Earl Ray set on death row.

I'm picking up where I left off in 2012. Heading back to Nathan Bedford SP (Eva, TN) this Saturday for some over-nite moto-camping. Brrr.

Glad to see you guys posting here and planning the next State Park trip. Nothing special required except to do a typical ride report and send me the link. I'll connect it to this page and we can all enjoy.

I've taken a couple of rides to Florida in the past couple of months but didn't take pictures, just spent the time with my brothers riding. Anxious to do some of our State Parks now. Might try to slip over to East Tennessee and take in a couple of their places.

I don't think Spring can make up it's mind. But a great ride report with all the key elements: Motorcycle, camping, cooking, cold weather and rain.

I didn't know they had the online part until you mentioned it. Looked at it briefly and seems straight forward. Nice to be able to see availability and make a reservation without having to call. Looks like only 6 of the parks are online right now.

I hope to make a ride up to Fall Creek Falls this Saturday if it's not too chilly. My brother purchased a Sportster Trike and I picked it up for him last weekend. I get to play with it until I deliver it to him at the end of the month. Anyone that wants to go is welcome to join me.
