Online route planner!

Hello

Some time ago I fell over a motorcycle route planner, which used googlemaps, but had additional functions aimed at motorcyclists.

Anyone know it? Google is of no help.

I have been using ridewithgps.com. It is very good so far and the people that run it are open to suggestions.

I use freeware TYRE "track your route everywhere". http://www.tyre.tk/. It is great software, using Google Earth and Google Maps for route planning and is compatible with TomTom and Garmin GPS units. Try it out.

Yeah, I couldn't get past the come to Jesus song on the demo YouTube video....not for me. Needs Windows, I'm a Mac.

DualSportMaps.com is a good one. It was made by an inmate and has an Android app (website is free, app is paid) for offline maps.

The AAA has a free online routing tool which allows you to route a trip and then print out a custom road book for that route. Probably not the application you were asking about but it is handy. Great for planning hotel stops along your route.

Haven't used it in a while, but it allows you to build your route online, then download. Downside is that you have to create a user ID in order to build routes.

www.tourstart.org is a free planning tool made especially for bikers! On Tourstart.org you can plan a route and then download it to your GPS. After the trip, you can upload the route to your personal profile along with pictures from the drive, so your friends can follow your trips.

And HD Dealerships .

Actually, once you get past that aspect of it, (the name/brand) it is the most intuitive ride planner I have used
