Garmin Basecamp and Windows 8
Just "upgraded" Basecamp to 4.0.5. I am running windows 8 platform. Anyhow, routing now appears to be straight line (e.g direct) between waypoints. Changing the activity profile doesn't seem to affect it and make it correctly follow roads. What setting has gone haywire?

I'm thinking that the 'Global Map" you have up is not auto-routing. Try it again with a map set that is.
Mine routs fine in CityNavigator but uses a direct (off-road) route when the Global Map is selected. Bruce |

 The winning answer was the map set! BTW, you guys should work for Garmin Help support:)
