So it is US bound. No surprise here. Not sure how well it will do knowing there are 2012 GTS models unsold and fewer color choices for 2013.

There's a really nice PDF to be downloaded from the website once you sign in with your email. Not sure how to post the PDF here...

As for those first Vespa's made right after WWII, do you have any idea what one of those is worth now? Enough to buy a truckload of new ones. REAL Vespa enthusiasts want nothing to do with the new twist and go models, and will not accept anyone who rides one. To them, if it is not at least a '70s model, it is not a real Vespa. A 4 stroke engine and CVT are sacrilege to them. There are some vintage Vespa clubs around here, and they would rather welcome a Stella rider than a new Vespa rider. I have never been put down by the local vintage Vespa shop where I go to buy parts for my Stella. They are even teaching me how to build a "proper" engine for it using the right parts when the LML engine bites the dust. Of course I will be buying those parts from them. New Vespa's are thought of by Vespa enthusiasts as "fakes", and don't believe they have the right to use the Vespa nameplate. The older the better.

In a French video I watched, the commentator mentioned a possible price approaching 8,500 euros. I sure hope he's wrong.

Oh, betcha he ain't far off...what's that backdrop sign (in the pix) say? "Fashion" "Precious" "Icon" "Style" "Evolution"

('precious'? ...Whatever was that copywriter getting at? "Why, this scooter is precious as a Faberge' egg.")

Yes but it looks like the fit and finish is impeccable. And if it's still built in Italy... The addition of technology like traction control is another factor to the premium price. Now do I think traction control is overkill on a 125cc? Yes. I hope it doesn't come standard.

The 360 view allows you to appreciate the design in its entirety. I can't wait to see one. I wonder if they had it on display at motorcycle shows around the country...

I havent see Piaggio listed as an exhibitor on any cities for the IMS shows.

I can't really recall seeing Piaggio/ Vespa at a Mortorcycle Show here in Texas but may be California is a bigger marker?

Actual release date here in the US anyone?
