All told, there are four advriders here right now: myself (ulyses), jdowns, and two canadians. Five counting justin (edzachtamundo) We decided to have a little mini rally/party for Justin last night in his room and that picture was the result. All told, Justin is looking at over $5,500 of medical fees, judicial costs, and outright bribery. We´ve set up a paypal donation button that links straight into his paypal account. If anyone is interested in helping out a fellow rider who is down on his luck, follow the link in my signature to my blog where you can click on Justin's recovery fund. Thanks! Bryce |

With an auto/truck, the front of the vehicle actually pushes the water away and creates a bow wave. This allows for a lower level of water and pocket of air to remain where the air intake usually sits. You just have to maintain momentum for it to work and hope your radiator fan doesn't throw water over the ignition components. Stop and all the water comes rushing up and higher until it settles. Maybe this works for m/cs too?

Electrical isn't a big deal under water,it's the air intake and crankcase vent. They are close to being under water.

The air intake was below for a second here. The bike had some asthma problems when getting on the shore on the other side. We just kept the bike running and after a little while it was running proper again :-)
Don't look back, you are not going in that direction :-) |
