Howdy,
I used the search function and am in the middle of google hunting, but has anyone found a way to mount the SW Motec center stand past the Leo header? Scratching my head over here.....

I'm torn between the 2, but have been a Suzuki guy since 1970. Would like to hear a comparo, especially the dirt oriented stuff. Thanks

Love my 09 Wee, still adding goodies and looking for the most economical luggage setup. I have a 110 wire feed, so a little fab adj is no trouble. Your thoughts?????

I'm still kickin' a 2002 DL1000.. Good bike though I must admit. One downfall of the 1000 I see is you have to tinker w/ them a LOT to get em' running right. On the flip side from what I hear the 650 comes running good right outta the box. I can say though, that once you put the effort into getting the Vee tweaked out it runs like a spider monkey jacked up on Mt. Dew.
Honestly speaking, I would be more than happy to add a 650 to the arsenal but cannot see it happening in the near future. I'm still having to much fun toying w/ what I have. |

[QUOTE=lentil;20367690]IMHO opinion the 650 is one of the sweetest motor known to man - there is nothing like dropping it back a cog or two and doing a high speed close fly by on a riding mate who is falling a sleep on a tar section with the big v twin humming and the staintune crackling out the back. They pretty soon wakeup and start wanting to make sure it doesnt happen again!
Yeah I must admit I would truly enjoy having a 650 as a daily rider and then keep the 1000 in the closet for play. I almost traded a fella my 1000 for his 650 a while back. Fell through though as I just oculd't let myself down size at that time. It seems I need two bikes :) Best part of that is you can ride one while the other is in the shop or getting fixed up/ & whatnot... |

Hello everyone...
First time post. Been reading several threads and viewing awesome pics... I have a KLR650 and V-Strom DL. Both are my first bikes ever owned. I am freaky in love with both bikes. I bought KLR new in 06 and I have 39,984 miles. Woohoo! I couldn't sell the KLR for the amount of joy I get in one days ride to work. Hence, will never sell it. Planning to join the Super-Tenere ride in Ouray, Colorado in June. That will be my first ride with a group. The wifey and I expect it will be a blast. Bought the V from an awesome person in Baltimore and rode it back to Houston. On my 2nd day owning the bike my brother from another mother and I rode Tail of the Dragon. Great experience. Anyway, I am now of the opinion that I could love almost every bike my wife would let me own. LOL... Not the best poster but look forward to sharing and getting to know you guys. I went from a Triumph Tiger 1050 to a 2012 VStrom and am very satisfied. Loved the Tiger....really really love the GleeStrom.
