Well, the K has given me good service for 2 and a half years, gone everywhere I wanted it to go, with only one FTP.
Now it's time to move it on and build Mk. 2 Starting with this

![]() That's all you'll be getting for a while Dave. I'll probably do a bit of a build report when it's finished.

Hi Clancy .
You do not muck around do you . Nice looking bike you have picked up there. I was having a chat with the wife about what you are doing a few weeks ago as we were looking at the photos of your bmw at Pooncarie. She said sounds like a great idea and why don't i do the same ![]() So the wife has already said yes to a Suzuki 1400 for me when we get the money together , (BUT) said i have to get her kle500 dirt sidecar done first .I will be taking notes on your build of the 1400 All the best Ian |

G'day Ian. Yeah, I was a bit lucky with the bike. Only 20,000 kms and immaculate. Tons of torque too Won't be doing too much of a progressive build report mate. Probably just a story once it's finished. It will be a similar concept to the old one, just lighter, and a better use of space. Doing a bit of research, drawings on scraps of paper and asking lots of questions at the moment.
