Question! I'm going to be getting my 07 WR450 ready to do the 2013 Mex1K Rally. I already have a 3.6 gal tank from someone else
, sorry it was before I discovered you guys. Anyway wanting more gas for this as I'm going with the no pit service and hitting Pemex stations since I have heard the horror stories of them not being where they need. So I was thinking of getting the 5L side tank, my question is do I have to move the overflow tank or does it just wrap around it? Thanks

Are you selling more safari or IMS tanks for the klr650? Ideas why? Is it the keyed cap of the ims? Is the safari a superior product , barring the cap detail? NVTS

We have sold about the same to be honest with you. Some guys like the durability of the Safari a bit better but the locking cap is a big bonus for others. Ben |

Hello Ben,
I am torn between the Safari and the Rally Raid tank for my new to me 2010 690r. What do you reccomend? Thank you, Eric.

Hey Eric! I had the 690 and it was a great bike! I ran the Safari Tank on it and it was great. Everything worked great and I had the option of 6-7 gallons of range if I wanted. The negative to these are the looks in my opinion. The Rally Raid kit keeps the stock look better. The safari is easy to take off and cheaper too... I would probably buy this again. That said. We only have one black one in stock as of right now. Hope that helps! |

I like the way the Safari tank traps gas at the petcock instead of using the vacuum pump like the IMS does. I have also used the 6.6 IMS and have done extensive crash testing on it. It has passed with flying colors. I think both are tough enough to handle most situations. Ben, when do you think the Safari 7 gallon DRZ Tanks will be here?

Okay, when will you have the clear one in stock, and do you have the Rally Raid in stock? I think I want to go with the RR because it is so much cleaner looking but a bit more moola and a quite a bit smaller. Thank you very much for all your help! Eric.
