Don't be dissing Elmer Fudd now!

There are a lot of round-a-bouts in the US. Tons here around St George, UT, including this one in Ivins, UT.

I know Portland, OR has quite a few as well, mostly smaller ones though. It's becoming a popular method to slow traffic in neighborhoods w/o stop signs. Often an excuse for artistic community works around here, placed in the middle of the "roundie" as the locals call them.

But the tag is R's, as in two or more, so can be anything... Round Robbin, Red Rambler, Rocky Road, A street sign with a R name and some other R... Have some fun and be creative.

We have lots around Pinehurst, NC too. I guess I have a new idea for a tag...

Grab: Western, wagon wheel with a wooden wishing well behind a white fence, with a white wren's house on the porch.

while ride away, i also spotted these wobbly, once white washed, wooden, western, wagon wheels too!

actually as a roundabout that would make me annoyed....although i guess if its intended to slow everyone down it would succeed because visibility across/around is severley RED ROCK RESTRICTED

It's a 35 mph road, (~55 kph), and fairly tight, so taking it at posted speed is mildly fun and still provides enough visibility since it's mostly low traffic. In the US, most of the round-a-bouts are lower speed areas. Frankly, we can't handle a high speed round-a-bout that required visibility thru it. Too many cell phone, texting, idiots.

From my experience watching drivers approach this roundabout (the only one I found in Cincinnati), a majority of drivers quite simply did not understand who had right of way:
