I believe that I've been missing out all these years.. if the previous generations of K bikes were anywhere close to being as enjoyable as my new one .. better late than never right??

My Blue Brick at Deadhorse made the Aerostich catalog
Check it out! A friend send me this. It looks like my ugly mug along with my '92 K100RS made the Aerostich catalog:

It may look like a K1100RS but in reality its essentially a K1100RS powered by a K75 power plant. Smoother and lighter than a K1100 and more flickable in the turns. Sucks that I had to ride it down the coast earlier this week.

Transmogrification!!!
Quote:
WOW That's quite the transmogrification. I've heard of folks putting k1200 motors into K1100s, but never have seen anyone to the other direction. Cool.

I've always liked the smoothness of the K75 engine and the looks of the K1100RS so this bike really works for me.

I took out my 2000 K12LT today that i bought for my Dad and didnt ride in a while. I Squeezed the front brake lever and it seems awfully squishy. Is this the norm for this bike? it could be just me from hoping off the K13GT onto that.
It still stops fine just seems like the lever needs to come in alot before it starts stoping and seems just a little strange to me.

Anybody interested in a one owner 85 "naked" red K100 with only 7k on the clock? I know a local guy who is thinking of selling his. Bought it new in Colorado in 1985. Works for the military so has moved around a lot and the bike's spent most of it's life in storage. He brought it by my house last summer. It's pretty flippin' clean.
