Am I the only one seeing words underlined that are links to ads? This just started a few days ago.

It's been going on longer than that.

Bottom line is that your signature is yours, and it would be over-modding to tell people what they can and can't put there unless that content violates some other ADV rule such as a link to copyright infringement or contains profanity in the link wording just to name two.

I myself am thankful we don't allow photos and in the sigs.

Are you using google chrome? I had to get rid of it because it was putting links to ads in words. link I'm not sure if it's a new google feature or some kind of bug. (maybe there's no difference between the two these days)

Can either of you shoot me a post that you see this in?

I use Chrome but I can't say I've noticed anything different.

It's something you wouldn't see unless whatever-it-is has also invaded your browser. Before I got rid of Chrome a few days ago, I'd post something, and then after a few seconds, suddenly a link would appear in my post, not necessarily in the text of the post, but sometimes in my custom user title, for example, suddenly "thermarest" would change to a red double-underlined link to an ad for Thermarests. As they say, I can't figure out if it is a computer virus or just good marketing.

Found an extension called yontoo 1.0.2 installed. I shut it off, now we'll see what happens.

Yep, looks like your browsers have been hijacked.

The ads do not stem from ADV.

My Chrome browser appears to be fixed through simply shutting off the extension. I decided I'm liking firefox more, anyway, so I think I'll stay with it. It has all kinds of superfluous little spelling suggestions, though.
