photos look great. thanks for sharing. interested to know how the bikes handle, and how it is to ride them day in and day out. what works well, and what if anything could be improved?

as a current owner of a 2009 Tmax,,,,,,,, I hate you!
yea! I am jealous! if the new 530 Tmax was sold here I would be at the dealer today and pay any price its not fair! why can't us Americans own the best? why can't Yamaha allow dealers to special order one for us? Yamaha is making a mistake focusing on the heavy cruiser market and slowly dropping the sport bikes and scooters,,,, scooters are the future and its amazing they don't see that! These fat old white guys can no longer handle riding that big HD and they are switching to scooters. Why are all the Suzuki and Honda Dealers always sold out of their scooters? duh! cause they are in high demand, everybody is buying them! knock, knock, anybody home in there? |

1) price and 2) fuel consumption, none of which an owner can influence.

By the way, is there some long travel adventure report with a TMax somewhere?

Is there any way to post a picture with the under-seat storage visible, say with a helmet or something in there? Also, can you mount some sort of grocery bag-parcel cargo latch on it like a Piaggio has? Maybe those attributes have changed from a Tmax to a Tmax 530 (which seems we'll not get in the US anyway). It seems to me the Tmax has everything anyone could want in a scooter but in any case I'm curious about those important utility features.

I am just sooo sad that winter is here and its too cold to ride my Tmax,,,, thats why i come to this site,,,, riding is an escape from the old lady biching about everything, thats why I got the Tmax,,, its NOT built for a passenger so i have a good excuse NOT to haul her fat ass around on the back.
My most enjoyable experience last summer riding is I would ride to a small town about 50 miles away early in the morning on a Sunday morning when I had all the roads to myself to have breakfast at this little out or the way place and good conversation with the waitress,,, I kinda miss her too,,,, I admit she's ugly,,, but she's beautiful inside. Look at me! telling complete strangers my personal problems! maybe some of you guys can relate to me that riding is an escape from your old lady too? What? Move to California so I can ride all year round? |

Why don't you move somewhere that has no internet connection. That way you can concentrate on your riding and not worry about wasting your time trolling ADV Rider.

Yes sonic grey.
Storage under the seat is not very big......a smal helmet will fit. |
