The info you all gave was priceless. We all have different preferences for sure. The Scrambler ALWAYS puts a smile on our faces though it seems.
well..I'm keeping my '06 Scrambler and my '09 Tiger. My son & I are going bike shopping when he comes home on leave. I can't part with the Tiger, so I can't part with the Scrambler.

Got my Staintune mufflers today, all fitted up & tested, not as loud as the TORs & smaller as well, louder than my Thruxton with Staintunes but still good.

Hey Soundcc, my CDI box went bad on my 06, it would drop the right side when it got hot, but it would run ok on other times, traced it to the CDI found a take off from Baxter's cycle, took the seat off, replaced the box in 5 min. and have not had a problem since

Thé Scram pre-EFI had an issue when ridding with pillion. The weight press the CDI and it stops the ignition. Easy to fix with a piece of wood or bolts.

I put a little plastic registration container under my seat and this may well be the cause.
I ordered an ignition timing sending unit and was ready to install, I will look at the CDI.
I asked the dealer if they would run a check on my CDI unit and how much?
They said" whole bike or no deal" and they want $170.00 just to run diagnostics.
Funny how friendly the dealer was when I was buying the pyle of electrical problems.

Double Headlight on Scram?

I am thinking of putting double side by side head lights on my Scrambler. Anyone else do this? What size should I go with? 4", 5" Bigger? My quick google search did not produce any Scramblers with double lights.

The reasons for doing this will be:

A) I want more light.

B) I have time to fiddle with it this winter.

C) Should look cool.

D) More light is better.

E) Chicks dig the extra brightness.

Here is a link to the ones I am thinking. Not sure if they will be chrome or black. http://www.aztec8.com/catalog/i4.html

Nice, that is the same color as mine. Good find. I think I am going with the 5" black double headlights. Should look sweet.

Just pulled the trigger. I ll post pics once I get them and get going on it.

picked up an arrow 2-1 for the scrambler off ebay, so stoked to get that puppy on. Oh and ditch the airbox and AI. It's winter time baby!

New Staintune mufflers, fitted these up on the weekend & should have done it 4 years ago. Much better in every way, even turning slightly golden

Those look super, Terry! Make sure you sell those old TORs to someone in the US. We don't want to break the chain.
