I may just know someone who buys shine sometimes. He does live quite a ways from the beer store. Was getting tired of friends showing up and drinking all his beer so he now gives them a few good shots first. Cuts down on their beer consumption later.....

I have this very old book here, from the days when there were mobile stills going from farm to farm in France to distill the farmer's harvest. It has all the recipes to turn shine into fancy liquors. Some of the ingredients are now a little obscure, especially if you have to translate them from French. Anyone wants a recipe.....nommez votre poison/liqueur.

And not to detract from the purpose of the thread, that would be something someone made I guess, as in "book restoration" and I made the plastic cover, just the way I learned at school back then when we had to cover all our books.....but Thanks Penelope for the resto job!

I used scrap parts to make a hanging gas tank for test running motorcycles. I just need a valve and hose barb on the bottom and it'll be done.

Very cool just needs a glass site tube on the side.

Wifey doesn't like the cat litter box in the house. I came up with a neat solution:

The passage goes through a kitty door under the counter in the bathroom. I wired the cat water fountain to a GFI under there too. (Door was taped open to get them used to it. Now it's hanging closed and they go through it like nothing!

People always wonder where the litter box is, because they can't smell it. Wifey is happy, so I'm happy

That looks great!

Do you have any pics of the back of the tree? What plans did you use?

Thanks,
Jack

Yes the plates swing when hit. Here are some more shots (no pun intended) Whole unit comes apart, plates lift off of tree, tree lifts out of base and legs slide out of base to make it easy to transport and store.

Awesome!

Is that downward deflection angle built into the base? Or is that just the camera messing with me???

Great job, very clean.
