I just moved to the north side of San Antonio from New Mexico. This morning 15 Dec, at around 10:30, I was heading south on Blanco and encountered a group of about 6 adventure (mostly VStroms I think) riders heading north into the Hill Country. Ya'll know any of these folks? I would love to get in touch with a group of riders here. Thanks in advance for the help!

Good on ya Hizzo! Now we have a new guy to throw dirt on. ha. I have only ridden the BMW once since I bought the KTM---. AND--- Its been up to 93 mph--- too fast for me. The bar ends have been in the dirt maybe 100 times in two years. I am not used to the smooth, rested, clean, stop every block for lights, signs, cars etc. I may have been influenced by " Pigpin" at some point. Anyhow, Im lookin forward to pickin your brain at the ride breaks about the tech stuff that is your reputation. Ive been busy with honey doos. Sooo-

I saw the replys and appreciate the help. The dealer I bought it from said put it in the garage, no way on the side of a mountain. Talked to Munn and they were more helpful, barely blip the throttle while cranking. That worked to a degree but not sure about it starting at 15 to 20 degrees.

Why am I having Ural withdrawals??? WANTeD....Ural Patrol...must not be black with red stars...must be able to maintain plausible deniability if I ever go visit BeemerBob with it...want to be able to disassociate from bald guys with purty mouths.....KLR685 could be trade goods.....

Try cutting back on the cheap vodka and go make a bunch on fast right-handed turns and the withdrawals will soon pass. If that doesn't work, try riding all day Saturday at the top speed of 45 mph. Stop twice to fix it. Good luck in shaking this strange desire.
