Your first problem is that the article is from the Toronto Sun. I wouldn't even wipe my ass with that biased shit pile. I've never read a paper with more of a political agenda, and less attention to facts, than the aforementioned publication. Let's just say it's never going to win any awards for journalistic integrity.

It's a known fact that the courts are currently trying to bring credibility and accountability to the arrest-making process. By making an example of these guys, the importance of acting in accordance with the constitution is emphasized.

And please, don't bring race into this.

Same owners as the Calgary Sun. Sunshine girl sure was nice to look at on a very snowy Kootenay monday morning. But sure wasn't much good to read in that paper. But for the girl did not go well with my rotgut moonshine breakfast.
