Been helping with this one a 62' Matchless CS500 that Clint Walker owned. Almost done, been fun to help.

My '62 Bonnieville as purchased in the early 80's. Bought by the dad , who painted it Lilac , like the front fender. Inheritted by the son who took the front fender off and painted the bike green.

Buco bags, metallic gold slip cover on the seat , apes , cable wraps., front bumper, seat bar.pure goofyness.
I do like the rear carrier. Restoration has never happened.

I have seen many photos from this museum, but this is the first time that I can recall that you mentioned its name. A little googling and I came up with this http://www.motorcyclepediamuseum.org.
It is on my list of things to do the next time I headed back from New Jersey.
I am torn as to what to do about the '62 Bonnie. It is too ugly to be brought out in the light of day, but it is unique. I'm glad I don't have to decide.

it couldn't be more right. seriously to alter that bike would be a crime. there are enough stock restored Triumphs around. that is one of a kind. genuine period mods are irreplaceable.

Love this bike. The exhaust certainly is, uh, interesting.

Baker, I'd like to hear the comments on the Triumph at the river some Thursday night. I'm sure you would draw a crowd with that one.
