![]() My '62 Bonnieville as purchased in the early 80's. Bought by the dad , who painted it Lilac , like the front fender. Inheritted by the son who took the front fender off and painted the bike green. Buco bags, metallic gold slip cover on the seat , apes , cable wraps., front bumper, seat bar.pure goofyness. I do like the rear carrier. Restoration has never happened.

I have seen many photos from this museum, but this is the first time that I can recall that you mentioned its name. A little googling and I came up with this http://www.motorcyclepediamuseum.org.
It is on my list of things to do the next time I headed back from New Jersey. I am torn as to what to do about the '62 Bonnie. It is too ugly to be brought out in the light of day, but it is unique. I'm glad I don't have to decide. |
