Hi Gary, I just put a small piece of transparent scotch tape around about half of the lens and camera body when I first got mine lined up and it has never moved. Bad design they should have some detents with markings but don't. Merry Christmas too!

Hey Mike! Glad to hear you're on the mend. I understand the reasoning behind allowing the lens to rotate because I use it on 3 different helmets and none of them allow the camera be indexed the same but in this case I just forgot to check the laser alignment. Once it is set, I've never had it inadvertently move while while riding. That they didn't allow an edit in thier software for the eventuality that the user might misposition it IS a bad design!

On a brighter note, it looks like you Fayetteville'rs may get a white Christmas. One winter after the sun came out, I rode up to Petit Jean while the snow was still on the ground and it was a beautiful ride. We'll probably get a nice coating of ice here! No going in that!

I'll be thinking of all of you and the white Christmas from afar. I will be in Rio Vista, Texas for Christmas then off to Big Bend Ranch State Park for four days of riding in the Chihuahuan Desert. Not supposed to be very warm at night but days should be comfortable. I will try to get lots of pictures while gone.

Gus, I am looking forward to Christmas with my brother in law doing all the work...haha. I can't wait to ride at Big Bend. Brad and I went in 2009 and I loved it.

Sounds like a great trip Charlie! Hope you have a great time but...wouldn't you rather be heading north to Iowa for a visit?

Ummmm, not only no but HELL NO. The Iowans are headed to Texas for Christmas this year. Next year Iowa is on the rotation though...blech.
