We all were.

Even more impressive was how you kept up with us in that 40-60mph crosswind.

So tell us about your Veracruz trip plans.

Sounds like a great ride. I have a doctors appointment on the 31st and have to leave for Eagle Pass on the 1st. Thank you though for the invitation.

Shoveling snow last night, I wondered if the danger in warm Mexico is better than having a heart attack in the cold.

Been to Mexico during Christmas once, it was neat to see the poinsettias, but I don't think I could give up snow for Christmas.

But New Years, yes. Yes I could.

Wanna bet? Trust me, it only gets easier and easier every year. I haven't seen snow other than on the Cofre de Perote and el Pico de Orizaba in 20 years. Don't miss it one gawdam bit, thank you.
I'll take a frosty one in my hand over Frosty the snowman on a front lawn, any day of the week.

Signs

They before I moved out of Colorado for Mexico 5 years ago we had a bit of snow. As I cleared it off the driveway my trusty snow shovel broke. I took it as a sign. You can see all the snow you like in photos and videos.

Try the Hotel Bugambilia in Hermosillo or might I suggest (Shameless self promotion alert! ) bypassing Hermosillo and taking the Rio Sonora route. Our little hotel in Banamichi has hosted many riders on their way to Panama. PM me or use the link. if you want.

10-4 0n the rio sonora route. You are going down there to ride. You might as well start soon as you get across the border.

If you can get this little booklet it has lots of info.

I will be crossing at Laredo January 3. I know this area has had a bad reputation, but I have crossed going both ways two or three times in the last six months and every thing has went smooth.

Well, golly. It appears Santa might have left a shiny new set of testicles under the tree for me. Who knew?

Going back into Mexico in late January early February for a week or so. Heading down from Reynosa with the nephews to ride the area north of Ixmiquilpan. Started a trip planning thread "Texas to Tolantongo" and am scouring the web for mostly dirt road travels in the area. But some of those twisting bits of pavement like 120 can't be denied. Just too tasty. ;)

We won't be camping intentionally, are self-sufficient (as a group) mechanically, don't get wasted, and don't have that much trouble ordering at a Taco Bell. Oh, yeah. And the nephews can ride. Good to go. ;)

Already found some Uncle Milton galleries and, of course, johns downs recent ride report but all ideas welcome by pm or on my planning thread.

A huge thank you to all the thread regulars. You have kept the fire going for us. It is much appreciated. Special thanks to schizz, donnie, and most recently, johndowns.

For those of y'all who know me and even some of y'all who don't, expect me to pester the hell outta you by pm. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I do know enough to ask questions. I apologize in advance. ;)

I figured you thread jockies didn't miss much Was one of the few times I've read about violence happening in a ride report down in the canyons, and as it turned out they weren't moto tourists.
All's well in Mexico and beyond for motos

Ice? Other than using it for cooling off adult beverages in the Seal Club,I have no use for it. Snow? Even less.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all you FF's.

I look forward to riding with all of you in 2013.

Same to you Mystery. I'm trying to liberate a bottle of Louis XIII cognac for the seal club. I'll keep you posted...
