On the T's- are you printing and using transfers?
Look forward to the scrambler. |

Yep! Got a big heat press, an inkjet, and transfers. Lovin' it so far!
I put in my preferences over X.mas vacation - for a Scrambler kit with most of the options it was a hair shy of $4,000. I did screw one preference up, you basically only want unpolished rims if you're going to powdercoat... look to add $25 for a polished rear rim to match the front if you're leaving the front stock. Luckily, the guys at Ryca set me straight. You pay when the kit is ready to ship. Very much looking forward to it.

Wow, had no idea they were modding the little Suzuki. That Scambler kit is very interesting. Look forward to seeing your progress and finished bike.
Been on this site for a while now and never really looked farther than local rides. Some Assembly Required is great. |

E-mailed the guys and they said they got my parts in w/o issue. My tank is cut apart and ready for welding - I guess they're still waiting on parts for the kit.
Can't believe it's 2013 already... ah well, at least I had time to get a couple of projects sold to fund the Scrambler.

Came across an older Savage on CL if anyone out there is looking for one. Doesn't look like much, but might be a good donor if you can get it for the right price.

That bike would be a much better platform to make a scrambler or cafe bike, too.

I like the wheels, not the brakes, would make a nice cafe.

This is an S-40 I changed around. I pounded the fenders out of 18 guage steel, made the exhaust, moved the controls to midmount, longer shocks, 18" rear wheel. I took the Emgo muffler off and put on a Harley Dyna. The Emgo was loud enough to make my ears bleed. Carl
