How much silver could you buy with the gold you spend on a premium tank, and how long does it take to play that tank to the break-even point?



Although, there are moments a premium tank is worth it. I was running the T-127 the other day, ruling the map (mines) with a hard iron fist, top gun, steel wall, all the rest, and people in chat asking in hushed tones what I had in that thing. My humble response was "Mad Skillz" as I shot the last enemy.

Someone who can check the WIKI or look at the excange rate can tell you for sure, but for some reason I think it is 1 gold = 400 silver. if that is the case then a Lowe or IS-6 is around 5,000,000 silver.

I have a 27", but it is nowhere near the quality Geek is playing with... Mine is an old TV, so it's resoloution is much lower.

It isn't the size that matters as much as the resolution. My laptop is 10" 1920x1080... my TV is 65" 1920x1080... but they are the same resolution.

My main desk has the good stuff though. The center screen is @ 2560x1600 res.... 30".
The two verticals on either side are at 1900x1200 each - 24" (tip: if you are going to use a screen vertically; get 1200 pixels instead of 1080 - the extra keeps you from having to scroll left and right reading websites formatted for 1024).

Video card wise: I run the 1900's off of a GTX275 - and then I dedicate a GTX580 to the 2560 screen.

So what teir do most of you play at? Still learning a lot but I'm starting to have some good games. At least I kill something in most games lol.

The freebie T1E6 is a blast if you get a game full of them... I played Malinkova where all but one or two on each side were T1E6's and everyone rushed into the middle and started shooting it out. Same think on mines, except it was all T1E6's and everyone rushed the mine and shot it out. Absolute chaos! No strategy, no plan, just run-n-gun...

Also finally made it into tier V with the M7 and KV1. The M7 sucked pretty hard until I upgraded to the 6-pounder and started firing from cover a little better. The KV1 has been a blast from the get-go... slow as hell, but tough and deals a good bit of damage.

I love the KV-1, when I can make it work right that is... Some days it will, others I end up in bad matches or just play the sheep while the farmer has velcro gloves.

Yes, I am tired now, about to get off shift and get some sleep.

i got in a match with a platoon of togs yesterday. 3 of them in ruinberg. Encounter battle.

They rolled through the streets 3 wide, with me in a church behind them flingling lead between the cracks.


Utterly devastated the other team. It was a wall of death and metal. Awesome.
