We had a rip roaring argument and were considering parting company but sorted stuff out and headed off with huge hangovers last Sat. We wanted to look at 80 mile beach which is a sandy road. She's back after being kicked out 40 odd years ago

Next morning, just down the road, we rounded the bend to find a single vehicle rollover. Their other friends in another vehicle were there with a hulk of a roadtrain driver (later named care bear) and a passing nurse. Three backpackers were in the van and two got out relatively unscathed. The third, a girl from Hong Kong, was half hanging out the window underneath the van.
Some guys had already driven the 25kms into Timber Creek for help. After a short while the cops rocked up, then the ambo and the local firetruck with cutting gear. After the ambo left, 2 hours later, I took this shot out the window after hooking the boat back up.
On the left you can see Nazza talking to one of the backpackers who we then helped load up their gear and drop off at the clinic. Hope she is alright. Now we are staying a couple of extra nights in Timber Creek. Ride safe in the holidays.
