Anybody know if the NC is being discontinued for 2013????
I am at the dealer, and they are saying no 2013.

I have rode bikes since i was four years old, enduro and mtx til i was 24 when i got my first street bike.

Kawazaki z750
Ninja 900
Tt600r
Ktm superenduro
After that i bought the NCX. Im 190 cm and weighing in at 94kg and i have no problems with the size of the bike.

Well thats a short review of the bike and my background if it helps someone.

Blame the importer, Honda (Japan) doesn't care.

It's available in all colors and all transmission+abs combinations
in most other places in the world.

To tell the truth, I'm surprised they even imported it to USA.

There has been no official announcement..........but good as the NC is selling.......................suspect there will be 2013 model or they could run with the 2012 model line up and in fall of 2013 release the 2014.

2012 model was announced in JAN and released in the summer of 2012.

Western Honda in Scottsdale AZ said the 2013 models wouldn't be in for 5 or 6 months. I assumed they told me that so I would buy what was on the floor. They still had 4 2012 models in back and are selling about 1or 2 per month. I bought mine for $200 off MSRP + 15% off of all accessories I purchased that day. Seemed like a pretty good deal.

I didn't think I would either. Each day I ride it though, it feels more and more like I found a bike that suits me well. It has plenty of the kind of power you need for commuting and if you compare the power to a XR1200 or sportster it's almost the same but in my opinion is a more rounded do it all bike. Your mileage may vary. :-)

And like I said if I want excitement I have a bored, ported, chambered RD400 sitting next to it in the garage that gets 1/3 the MPG and keeps the mosquitoes at bay.

I've been following this thread since it started, but I still haven't been able to see one of these in the metal yet. Looking forward to riding one if I get the chance, even though I'm not in the market. It sure seems like it could be Honda's best 'right bike/right time/right price' offering since the XR400.

I will my kit my bike this summer with a higher windshield, skidplate, avon distanza tires,hardcases (for the side), and the original bar for foglights. For the looks ofc but the windshield and the extra light will help early and late in the season aswell.

Bought a slipon from GPR on Ebay, 2200euro ink shipping. I picked the small "race"(cant remember the name) model, only downside is that there where no dbkillers included and it sounds pretty high, in sweden that will be a problem since we have a mandatory inspection every two years for bikes. Sound is pretty sweet though hehe

All I have been doing lately is reading this thread and the ones on the NC7000X forum, and rereading the issues of Cycleworld with NC articles. I heard nothing anywhere until at the dealer when he was like "you know they aren't going to be making these next year?"
I was pretty surprised, but the wife didn't like that at all. She seems to think that we don't need anymore " rare, only imported for one or two year Hondas".
Looks like I have to go back to the dealer again.
