I got a pair to for my dirt riding/knee brace set up. Good for that. They fit over M/C type boots and over Astrik knee braces which is what I got them for.. Really great pants for the price.

A mesh crotch that would be ok down to 10 degrees, are you guys nuts??
I would not have any mesh gear for temperatures down that low.

I bought Dakar pants 2 years ago. They are well ventilated summer pants.

I really like the Badlands. Heavy, but I've toppled a couple of times with no damage. Pretty good ventilation for when it's warmer and guaranteed waterproof by GoreTex. D30 armor feels beefy albeit a little stiff when cold. Nice riding in the 40s with a down sweater underneath.

sizing on dakar?
those that have them how is the sizing? I usually wear a 32x34 in levi's but ideally a 33 waist would be better.
Should I get 32 or 34's and should I opt for the tall sizes? 90% of the riding with these will be with full on MX boots (TCX Pro 2 boots) if it matters and usualy with full carbon knee braces (EVS Web)... |

I wear a 36x32 and the 36 Dakar's fit fine, maybe a tad bit loose.
