KLR ownership can go either way. Feel the need to be cheap, blame it on
the KLR. Need to splurge? Again blame it on all the years of self denial
during KLR ownership. Ya just can't lose.

The Tenere just would not accept the duct tape wheel repair that a KLR would have
been grateful for. I'm having to make a few adjustments now living with the blue princess.

I think none of us own KLRs. The damned things last so long that they are like airplanes.

They pass through our hands so that we accumulate some stories and experience, but we are just their care takers for a while, till they go to their next person.

Now *THAT'S* funny... But oh, so true!

Sometimes we just hand 'em down to our sons, like I did!

I'd like to make it official. My son is smart enough to let me store, maintain, register, insure and
just keep it ready for when there may be an invite for him. I did manage to get him to keep
an SV in his garage, wait I own that garage too. Damn kids.

Oh well, ya gotta love the little darlings.

Sand

Anyone here ridden their S10 in the pine barrens (central jersey) much? Just talking about the legal roads, but they can be pretty sandy and whooped in some places. What tires are you running?

k60 15lbs front.. most of the legal roads you dont have to air down. the ones that you do have to air down are to long and deep to enjoy on a big bike
