I read the "no need for anything else"
and in the first photo was a GS.. and it was gone in the 2nd photo.

I didn't realize it was about headlights

Yes, the US and Euro headlight assembly has one light for low, one light for high. The difference is that the US has only one light on at a time; either the low or the high beam. The Euro light has one or both lights on; the low is always on and the high beam turns on to add to the low beam, not to replace it. Also the way the reflectors are shaped is different and the pattern of light is actually better. Personal experience.

I have HID50's in my Euro assembly and haven't noticed any "wobble". Wish the ballasts were a bit smaller and the wires a bit shorter so I can shoehorn them into place easier but all in all I'm very pleased.

Dont know what the US setup is.
Mine is a Euro headlight, high is H3, low is H7.
Both are 55W HID slim digital, not DDM.
It also has a little 5W running light.
No wobble, perfect fit.
Best $85 I ever spent............apart from the 220W of HID I put on the GS

I'm not sure that this is correct.
My understanding is that the US light has only a pilot up top. It is a dual filament main bulb.
The Euro light has separate bulbs up high and down low.

A graphic I made a few years ago that has been posted in the HOW. This is my US light on the left and my Euro light on the right:


Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Cool thanks. It had been a while and I couldn't remember for sure but I assumed I did the graphic right at the time.

I seem to remember laying out the money for the Euro lens specifically because I wanted to throw an HID in my low beam and still have a halogen in the high beam so that I could flip it off and on in the canyons without any HID firing delay (same thing I did on my Husky).

Mind you I put a 55 watt HID low beam in my euro lens... there is so much light the high beam is pretty much irrelevant

I'm happy for you, but me... impossible to keep that clock with just 1040 miles in 7 years... I couldn't do you that favor

May be it's a good idea to check the tires, no for the use but for the possibly expired over-dryed rubber?
These are no light beasts and they perform high speeds you know...
