Shoowe! That chap on the LC4 got a little loose @ 2.25. Nice vid. We've just got desert type stuff here.

Also following Alps is another super nice trip,we usually go to the western part, close to the border with France.
I imagine you went there!
About gps tracks,...not easy,
also 'cause many of these places aren't completeley legal to ride in.
there are different laws for each council
And again, people of these places could be not so happy if many riders should across their fields, you know what I mean?!

thanks Bootsy

i see we have the same difficulty (in France), now it's not easy to do a long ride in off road , just a little tracks near Sestrieres and Parpaillon .................(east french Alps).
all the spring , with my friends, i go often ride in Spain and Marocco , and summer with my wife in Europe, ............in summer 2010 we doing a nice ride in Sardaigna , the turn of island in off road, may be the last big spot in Italia!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

thank you again

hi jm
Sestrieres and Parpaillon ....exaclty same places as us:)
In that area try also the Jafferau,,as well as ASSIETTA pass , COLLE DELLE FINESTRE,and the full "via del sale"
following this one,you'll arrive till liguria/cote d'azur
Spain ,Moroc, and also Sardinia or Corsica islands are the TOP(talking about europe) for our kind of bikes.
Hope to meet you somewhere one day!
have a good ride,man.

990R - winter - evening

I am not waiting for summer. Winter can be the best part up here. Right now it's perfect conditions and most people stays inside and fattens up with all the food. I have most smaller roads all by myself

Yes, studded tires. I bought an extra set of wheel to the bike, 1.60 front and 2.50 rear so I can mount regular enduro / mx studded tires. Currently I am using a trelleborg with 7mm for the front and a Birdgestone with only 5mm on the rear. Usually I am at 7mm (what sticks out) on the rear too, but I just had this brand new laying in the garage for a couple of years. Up here everyone is racing during winter the smaller bikes with studded tires and now more and more are studding big bores and twins also. The studs are the rally type, the same they use on the wrc cars.

Nice clip olec. Got inspired by it and went for a "night" ride myself. I like riding in the dark, coz I don't feel so embarrassed revving and roosting in the dark..

Stock lights? What camera?

Lights are that Touratech Rally double 90mm Hella Rallies + rally fairing (which I have cut down ). High beam Xenon and low beam some shitty halogen (but it works in traffic).
Camera is VIO POV HD which is mounted on the crash bar. Very nice camera! I have the unit itself strapped on top of the glove box. The two sections where I am coming towards / going away from the camera, is from the GoPro Hero 2 with a cheap joby tripod.

Every month I am going to Panuntie 11 in Käp˙la, Helsinki. You can find out where I work . This summers dream is going around the "Bottenviken" starting from Helsinki area. Maybe you can help me with some good route proposals or even join for some sections?
