Have been away awhile but Dakar drew me back to the best coverage there is.. ADVrider !!!

so.... Im guessing there is a new rule or requirment or something that has to be done to view Youtube video? All Im getting is a playbutton image.

Please point me in the right direction.

PS- Yes I searched first. The word youtube and "cant view" and "how to" is used million times

Check to make sure your adobe flash player is up to date.

Will check. Youtube works fine thru every other site I access it though. Properties check does show the link as being youtube.. but I can click it too adnausium and nothing happens.

Will report back after checking flash

PS- just checked with Adobe.... my flash player is most up to date version

IE9 Win7. It's like the hyper link does not work.. I can cut and paste the youtube URL into another window and it works just fine.

BTW- Each youtube link is youtube sized window of black box with Play button. No underlying image grab from the video is displayed as would be typical

Bizarre. Have you rebooted lately (or at least closed and restarted the browser)?

If that doesn't fix it, I'd also give a look at your browser and flash security settings to make sure something with embedded links didn't get turned off.
