2002 Suzuki SV 650

Well, now that I have added yet another bike to the stable that will do everything I need, it's time to let a few go. First up is the SV, posting it here before I try the nutjobs on CL. The upgrades below were to set it up to be a sport-tourer, while still retaining the quick, torquey feel on the awesome roads we have here out west! Unfortunately (or fortunately, actually!), I was cut off back in April and went down on the left side at 20mph, breaking just the shift lever boot, a mirror, a turn signal and bent the handlebars, which I had replaced with the SVRP clip-ons They really improve the overall comfort level. No scratches from the accident on the body, frame or tank. Ray's Motorcycle did all the repair work, and even had him sync the carbs, so it's ready for many more miles. Low seat height, and adjustable riding positions for riders of all sizes

Works great for me for how often I use it and powers everything I need. Change the oil in it twice a year and it keeps on ticking. Keep an eye on sale prices, I got mine for $139.

This Lisle Jeepers Creeper was only used a couple of times before I moved to a house with a dirt driveway and now I can't use it. It's a nice creeper. $50

If you make it easy for me and take everything it will be $95 total (all together it would cost over $270 retail).

For trades or partial trades I could use a good new DOT rear knobby for an 18 inch rim. Widths of 120-140 are fine.

I have a few items for sale:

Shorai battery - LFX14L2-BS12 - I bought it this summer to use on my 570. It works great in warm weather. It takes too long for the battery to warm up when the temps are below 30 degrees (common issue with lithium batteries). Since my 570 is also my snowbike I'm going back to a lead acid battery - $80

Quad Boss hand mitts - $six pack

I also have some back country ski gear for sale if anyone is interested:

Mammut R.A.S. Ready 30l air bag pack:

Dalbello Virus Tour ski boots:

1973 Honda CB350 - project bike

So the boys I work with have their hands full (at least for TODAY!) and aren't showing the enthusiasm towards the little CB350 that I'd expected. Perhaps if it was warmer - but for now things are lackluster in this department.

That being said, I'm going to try and get it down the road to free up some funds to put towards other projects that we're working on. Thought I'd toss it up here to see what might come about.

'73 Honda CB350, currently a non-runner.

I don't think it will take much to bring her around, honestly, but we've not invested one second in it as of yet. Will need the works, likely including carbs yanked and cleaned, brakes reworked, valves adjusted, clutch adjusted, chain, etc....all the usual stuff when you're bringing one back to life.

Just over 2400 original miles on her. All original tools and owner's manual still under the seat.

Tires are good, but old. NO MUFFLERS - just the header pipes. I've had tons of great feedback/suggestions from other ADVers on which direction to go with that, but we've just not had the time/funds to pursue it. Such is life.

Forgive me for the whacky lighting; it was late and dark, but I had to grab a few pics so that's what I have for now.

Clean title on this one.

Going for $750 on craigslist, but hoping to get $600 from an inmate.

For a bit more, I'll include the full set of Bates hard bags and fairing that came with the bike.

We're over on the west side of the state. Regularly get to GJ, Montrose, etc., so other options might be there.

Take a peek and let me know what you think - thanks!

Reminder: It isn't necessary to quote a previous post including a bunch of huge pictures just to offer a few word reply... It clogs up the thread quite a bit.

For sale: SOLD!

13 ft^3 Kenmore chest freezer, originally $300 from sears. We used it in the garage and has always worked without a hiccup since purchased. We took it out and cleaned it a couple of weeks ago and now it has that stinky freezer smell and the outside is a bit dirty but it should clean up nicely with a little effort.

Asking $75 here. I can help deliver around the metro area for the cost of gas.
