I'm all for use fees if what I am paying for goes solely towards it.

I drive three days a week from Ellensburg to Seattle. I would pay a toll to have another lane and better pavement over the pass.

The problem is that the money just becomes another pot to be robbed for pet projects and supporting the entitlement class.

I'm not a conspiracy theory guy, but this tolling thing seems to be a trojan horse to me. The DOT would love to get transponders on all vehicles and toll by the mile all while keeping the gas tax that we already pay. It appears that they are just looking for more ways to extract more money from the general public.

Well, lets say for example that you live in Kirkland. And that yo want to go to Starbucks on your GSA, in say downtown Seattle. It's likely that you're gonna use a bridge to cross the lake. And if there are tolls on that route, this is going to have some effect on your adventure.
