I think this will fit towards the center of the door and the handle protrudes past the lock bar...I think...

FWIW....I used a screendoor handle/lock on mine, the lock bar clears it and it was a breeze to install. When I need real security I use the lock bar.

Great idea, I'm going to try it! The other setup would require quite alot of fab work and your idea looks much easier.

Just the kind of input I have been looking for>

My E-track pieces today,

Should fit flush to the tile,

So I had to figure out how the bikes would fit, 5 work on paper but I think 4 is it.

I think the angle setup was the best but have to check one more time,the insulation is my base cabinet mock up.

I have to see still what works best...

I cut out plywood backer pieces for the roof vents.

I then glued them up to the ceiling for a guide to cut the hole and then will leave in place to secure the vent to the roof.

Hopefully will cut them in tomorrow.

It was a beautiful day in NY for January, clear skies and 45deg. I'll take it because I got a ton done today.

It's always scary to cut a hole in a perfectly good roof, but I measured twice (more like 5 times) and cut once.

Lots of GE Silicone,should be water tight.

DONE! Black one is a regular vent and the white one is a fantastic fan.

I'm glad I'm past that.

Moved on to windows, have to make hay when the suns shining.

I cut out temporary plywood templates out of the 14"x14" roof vent cutouts so I could mark the holes and then use as spacer blocks,

Had to use duct tape to protect the skin because I was out of blue tape...of course all the glue stuck to the metal when I pulled it off so I had to clean before setting the window.

In!

They are set to go between the base and upper cabinets.

Looks good!

Still waiting on the big window and ripped out most of the wiring I did because I am making the base cabinet smaller so i have to re do it plus I wasn't happy with what I had done.

It's a joy to get home and see a package at the front door!

The picture/escape window showed up today,(not sure who the old guy is in the reflection though?)

Of course the flange got bent, I assume in shipping.

Some pliers and an old sock so I didn't scratch it and good as new.(wait it was new?)

The garage is overflowing, have to start doing more but between work and winter...it ain't easy!

Was there a supplier that specializes in cabinets/tables for mobile applications?
Where did you find the folding table?
I figure I can probably get stuff from service vans, hopefully used. And a few other things from wrecked RVs.

I'll start a list of fine ideas to incorporate into a build, too.
I'll slowly be updating the Hino thread.

Big things were insulation, rewiring (12v and adding 120v), and the furnace install.

Cleaned/undercoated the steel:

Pulled out all the old wiring, installed new wiring, and insulated the walls:

Box on the front for the regulator/hookup

Insulated the ceiling

25k BTU forced-air furnace

Battery... removable so I can keep it on a tender in the garage instead of leaving it in the trailer and freezing. LPG/CO detector too.

It does well.

Where did you find the folding table?

Table was on EBAY, Bosspowersports was the seller, they have the best prices on cabinets that I have seen anywhere as well. I was going to use them but they didn't fit my plan, then had someone in Ct. build them but he said 6 weeks so I think I am going to go with HomeDepot cabinets that i will custamize to fit my needs.

So even though I thought I would be home all day to work on the trailer I had to actually "work" at my job till 1...I'm not complaining just stating the facts.

Did the window first, 36x22 egress window, layed it out inside and out,

I measured twice and cut once,

Shoulda measured 3 times because the opening was a little big, It is in and ok but not real happy with my install.....

Window is alright but would have preferred a little more meat behind the flange and the screws I got were fine thread and kept stripping as I installed them.
