BMW K1600R or K1600S ever going to happen?
I'd buy the Concept 6 in a heartbeat. I wonder if any variants using the new 1600 engine will ever be made.

Well, at least they could bring the K13R here. That wouldn't be too difficult

Dealing with all the old stock on dealer floors a year later might be.

I don't know. What I DO know is that if they make a K1600R, it is almost certain that I will buy one.

No chance. As the naked S1000RR didn't happen, i wouldn't hold your breath for a heavier, much more expensive and far riskier proposition from BM.

We'll get a K16RS, I bet. It'd mostly be a bodywork change. Big, fast, roomy and luxurious, like an M5.

Local dealer lists the K1300R on their website?

My K13S us closing in on 4 years - it is better than ever and it is still my daily ride, but I am starting to worry they won't continue with the platform. There is absolutely no other bike out there I would replace it with as my main transportation.
But man, the idea of a K1600S makes me all tingly. If BMW makes it, I will buy it. That amazing engine is barely any heavier than the one in my 1300 - it surely can be used in a less touring, more sporty application. Just take the current 13S, put that 6 cyl monster in it, put in the updated electronics and leave the rest unchanged (oh, and if you can fit them at all please cram in there those AMAZING leveling headlights). OK thanks... let me know when I can put a deposit down...

Well, that sucks. I sat on one at the m/c show today, but I might be more tempted by the 'S' model.
