Advanced pancreatic cancer found 04/2010. Have outlived +/- 97% of patients with this diagnosis, but 08/2013 cancer now in liver, vascular system and lungs with 20+ lung tumors. Sick/weak sometimes, not riding much. No more treatments & now under Hospice care.

I was riding them things even before Poutine existed.....still stunk. There are some old rolling stock at "Three Valley Gap" in BC, the old guy even built his own roundhouse to accomodate his trains. They all pretty well have the same smell.

Been at sea for over 30 years, never got motion sickness but for once in a Via car. Might have been the beer.....!

My experience with long-haul trains has been in the UK and Europe and I thought the seats were fine. My favorite mass-transit seats are the bucket seats in the little Embraers, though. Traveling solo, I like to be on the left where there is only one seat.
