Sizing on Puma boots
I'm considering buying a pair of Puma Roadster V3 boots and I'm wondering how the sizing works. I wear size 13 sneakers and size 48 moto boots (my current boots are TCX Infinities in size 48). The biggest size the Pumas come in is size 47, but they claim these are the equivalent of a US size 13. This is weird because usually a Euro 47 is listed as a US 12.5, and a 48 as a 13. A 47 is a little tight for me in most MC boots I've tried, so I'm wondering if the Pumas will fit me in a 47. So could any owners of the Roadster or any other of the Puma boots weigh in on whether these boots are true to size or run a bit large?

Euro sizing is always more consistent. Go with it.

Really? I've never heard this, and I've come across a bunch of threads about variations in (Euro) sizes across different brands. A lot of people say Sidi boots tend to run small, like in this thread:
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...ghlight=sizing So I was just wondering what the word is on the Pumas. Was hoping to hear from some inmates around here with some experience with these boots. Guess I'll just take a chance on the 47s and return them if they don't fit. |
