Wheel spoke torquing

What Nm setting is recommended for the 2010 GasGas 250 wheels? Tapping on the spokes with a wrench sounded like an orchestra....instead of all sounding about the same. So I will use an excel spoke torque wrench to check them the more accurate way. And does anyone know what size head I would need to get?

Unless the wheels are new and there are no specks of dirt in the nipple threads,you are wasting your time and money with a spoke torque wrench.Get a good ole spoke wrench and go around and snug up the loose ones and then check side to side and up and down on the rim.Adjust to suit from there.

I have always gone by sound, IE spoke tension, not nipple tension. Get each side of the wheel to be roughly in tune with itself. Depending on hub offset you can end up with all the same or not. Once everything is sound tuned, adjust until the wheel is straight. For bicycles you can get a fancy spoke tension gauge that flexes the spoke, and is said to be the most accurate, same concept may be available for the moto.
