My first set of Syed custom leathers turns 20 years old in a few months. Despite numerous crashes and repairs, they are still wearable - and I can even still fit in them!
But, my Motoport Kevlar suit, though only 4 years old, will probably outlast them and my 'stich, put together. I think Kevlar is way more durable than leather or Cordura.

I sent my old (and I mean, 110,000 mile, 8 year old) Darien pants in for a broken zipper and a snap replacement. They went through the garment, laundered it, re-applied the DWR, and fixed any frayed or damaged lining. The work they did was more than impressive.
I'll be doing the same to my Darien Jacket, which has even more miles on it since it's the jacket I use 90% of the time and the pants share duty.

not American but EU
The OP did't indicate a price range so I will assume he is a typical rich Yankee (relax, it's a stab at all the stereotypes floating out there in Internetland) with buckets of cash to spend.
All kidding aside, you'll need deep pockets because the only brands I am aware of that still manufacture their wares here are Rukka (made in Finland but also Portugal in the meanwhile) and Stadler (Germany). I can encourage you to buy lots of gear from Stadler because a) it is totally primo gear and b) since Germany is floating the lion's share of the growing debacle they call the EU, we need all the help we can get. Feel free to buy a nice German car to bring it all home in too (refer to point b).

FoxCreek makes Cordura and leather. Vanson makes the Odyssey and the Night Falcon jackets out of 1000 denier Cordura. My Night Falcon was my favorite jacket ever.
