A quick hello.
Thought I'd just say hello and show you my rig but I'm having a blonde moment about how to upload pictures from a mobile. I'll sort it soon, but it's a 1999 650 permanent 2WD diff. Civilian model with L/links and Kickstart only.
It's my first 2wd and it's great on the road and light offroading, I don't miss the lock up ability of the Gear up's as I don't get into the really wet sludgy stuff. It handles more like a trike than any of my other rigs I've owned in the past. Anyway I love it and I'm prepping it for an overland trip in the next two years to Mother Russia. I need to fit a split brake lever for one as well as a reasonable list of belt and braces jobs because I'm pretty sure the roadside recovery on my insurance won't cover the Ural Mountain range!

Welcome to ADV Kammelryder. Sounds like a cool Ural and a pretty interesting trip. I hope you figure out the picture deal and do a ride report.

Sorry madeoutaglass,
i am not the hero in posting, so i used many space to show our hack. It is our second car and i use it every day. Holiday, transporting and the way to the work. Most the children in the neighborhood enjoy it, not only by climbing over it. By parking the whole year under the street lantern, i wonder no one vandaliced it, till now, you hear ma knock on wood. The pictures mostly are from a short trip to Corsica, about 500 km to the ferry and you are in the paradies for extremists off all kind. The body count is at twenty, at the moment. Last week, someone shoot two chambers through both sides in a mobile home, with two sleeping elderly persones. But it is the beauty off the mediteraen sea. See you sometime at the "EGT" in Europe!
