Damn it, we are back in San Diego!

Let me start off by saying that we LOVE Mexico.

Two day drive to Loreto. Here are a few pics that I thought represented our little journey.

Ran out of day light just before Guerrero Negro. Tricky drive to San Ignacio in the dark. Road was a little narrow, with no shoulder - just a rocky ditch.
Very relieved to get to 'San Ignacio Springs Bed and Breakfast'. Rushed into town for a few late night tacos and watch the locals skate-boarding in the town square.

Had a great night's sleep. My first time in a yurt!

Terry and Mike are the wonderful Canadians that run the B&B. They are moto friendly too.

There seems to be a bunch of old looking buildings dotted about Baja. Apparently something to do with a couple of catholic europeans looking for fresh....,uhm, converts.

Being a complete tree-nerd, I found the giant Ficus nitida to be more interesting than the rickety relic.

Did a lot more driving. Stopped in Mulege for a little break. This wonderful establishment was at the very end of the road.

Mmmm, beer!

We came very close to taking this little puppy home with us.

We had a long discussion on whether dogs that seem to be eating well have a better time living free on a beach, compared to a dog at home in the States, behind a fence, that only gets to see its owners briefly before and after work. We left the little dog to its little canine adventure life.

For the three of you that might be thinking that we just drive around with flash-looking bikes in our pickup truck, be patient. Lots of riding coming.

You should see it now. It is still on, and has quite a few more miles since that pic. Have to raid the local used tire pile and fish out a newer one.
