Caught some run-off in my lesser tanks but my bigger one doesn't fill from run-off. It fills from a seep (seasonal spring). Fingers crossed that I got enough to get it started.

Dam only 3.73 here, which means a lot of runoff through my yard.

cleatus. I got over 4. May have got 5 but the NWRG report is not in yet. (Neighbor With Rain Gauge). My creeks have always started with a 3 inch rain but this drought has been exceptional.

In other news, I'm expecting my new to me zumo. What are the chances?

Wow, 2 days without any posts in this thread. Must be some sort of record.

Not that I've got much to say or even suggest a ride. Just looking at a bleak forecast for the weekend. Shoulder hurts due to the PT to strengthen it. Riding makes it ache some, but soothes the soul. So still a net win. Taking antibiotics for a salivary gland infection. Yep, new one on me too. Treatment it nice though. Drink fluids and suck on sour candy.

Might wander down to Lone Star if Rod is still heading this way. Might go down to Buda and look at all the people buying guns at Cabela's.

Well, I finally broke down and bought a Zumo 350 LM. Now I have to get a Touratech lockable mount to go on the bike. It came with a RAM mount, but it just clicks in and I figure someone would just click it out for themselves. At least with the lockable mount it would take them a minute or two longer to steal it.

I got 3.6" of rain and from my house, 42 miles to work, there wasn't a creek flowing.....WOW That's how dry we are. Any other time with that rain they would be rolling.

I know, what is this world coming to. I think my feet are cooling off too. Hell must be freezing over.

I Just read how the Garmin Montana is "5 times better than any Zumo". Maybe they were wrong...

Yeah, well. Why would I buy the right thing? Much better to pay the same for something that will be un-supported by Garmin within the month. Buy high, sell low. It's the slowoldguy way.

Not if you mount your TT with wingnuts as others, who shall remain nameless but we can all easily identify, do.
