One more question if I may?? What is your thoughts on replacing the plastic QD's with metal ones? Beemer Boneyard has the set for a 115 bux seems really $$$$$. Do you know of any other quality QD's that won't rape me on the cost??? |

I kept plastic QDs on the bike - never had a problem (>100k) but I kept a spare set in the tankbag, just in case.

More info on less-expensive replacement QDs/o-rings from McMaster-Carr; not metal but superior to OEM.
I have these on my bike: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...08&postcount=3 P.S. You might want to start reading up in GSpot. |
