The anodized gold color on the rotor set up may offer some info, iffin I were to look it up.
I believe Browns MotorWerks BMW is still there. Motor on down and I bet somebody would be able to tell you.

Here is a bike that I am in the process of building. It will be a few months before it is going to be finished.

Looks good, is that the stock tank or a CX500 tank?

The tank is a modified CX500 Deluxe tank. It is one of the few with a tunnel wide enough to fit the nighthawk.

That's kind of ironic considering it came off an across the frame V-twin.
That tank looks like it belongs, great inspiration.
I'll be following your progress since I've often lamented the plain vanilla appearance of this bike. The European version was far more attractive.

I've often wondered what that bike might look like in 919 body work but I really like the direction you're going. Keep it up.

WTF, I don't know if I love it or hate it, but I'm glad someone built it, so I could see it!

I think if this thing had a coherent paint scheme most would like it.

Just think how cheap it would be to do things to the motor!

I agree, Les, I see a lot of potential for greatness there.

What kind of HP do the VW conversions make?

Depends on how wild you want to get.

Most I've seen is 400HP
